The past few weeks have been full of momentum at Luddington Creative.
London Book Fair remains one of the most important gatherings in publishing, and this year was no exception. For us, it was an opportunity to showcase exceptional portfolios, reconnect with long-standing partners, and introduce publishers to the exciting new talent joining our roster.
The halls were busy, the conversations lively, and the appetite for fresh illustration talent unmistakable.
London Book Fair always brings a particular energy, but this year felt especially dynamic. Meetings moved quickly, ideas flowed freely, and publishers were eager to discover illustrators who can bring distinctive storytelling to their lists. It was also a change for many to experience the Agent Ludds welcome: enthusiastic, honest, and never short on passion for the artists we represent.

Beyond London: building creative partnerships across Europe
Following the fair, Lucie’s meetings will continue across Europe, building on the momentum from London with international publishers and partners.
Several debut author-illustrator projects have already been acquired, an exciting milestone for emerging talent we are proud to champion. Alongside these wins, we introduced fifteen new illustrators to publishers, expanding the range of styles and voices represented by Luddington Creative.

Next stop: Bologna Children’s Book Fair
If London set the pace for the year ahead, Bologna promises to build on that momentum. We look forward to introducing new talent, exploring international partnerships, and continuing the conversations that began in London.
For Luddington Creative and the artists we represent, the journey continues. And Agent Ludds is already on the move…
