Hi there! I’m a tea-loving oddball known as Thalia, a pluridisciplinary artist and illustrator with a background in comics! Ever since I graduated from AKTO School of Art and Design, I’ve had the opportunity to put my skills in use in the fields of picture books and zines, educational illustration, comics and concept art for video games.
I’m always on the lookout for new projects, and I’m particularly enthusiastic about stories that unapologetically celebrate authenticity and radical kindness, most especially if there’s a touch of humour (or even strangeness) to them! I aspire to create illustrations that inspire, educate and empower young audiences not to fear what’s different or unusual, but to embrace the fact that the the world is a wonderful place.
When not drawing, I often find myself doing crafts (air-dry clay being my current favourite), listening to music, reading random wikipedia pages and falling into obscure rabbit holes, or having a blast with my friends during our weekly D&D session!
