I’m an illustrator and designer and I grew up in the West Country, by the sea, on a diet of Airfix models, Star Wars, skateboards, Space Invaders, and trips to the town museum.
I recently completed an MA in Graphic Design at Falmouth University and was interested in how childhood experiences influence my illustration and design practice. When I was young, I would draw imaginary worlds and fantastical characters.
Not much has changed, except I’m lucky enough to draw for my job. I love illustrating incredible science, astounding animals, and marvellous humans, telling amazing stories, and making complex ideas fun and engaging. If I’m not in my studio, I enjoy being outside in the Cotswold countryside, where I live with my family and our two poodles, Rex and Tova.
