Hello! My name is Hannah Flanagan. I am an illustrator based in the west of Ireland. I have been painting and adventuring since I could hold a pencil and have never stopped.
I have an undergraduate degree in genetics and cell biology. After years working in the medical device and pharmaceutical fields, the call to art became too strong and I pivoted to a full time career in art and illustration.
I’m heavily inspired by the nature along Ireland’s Atlantic coast. I strive to incorporate the whimsy and magic of the world seen uniquely through a child’s imaginative eyes. When I’m not curled over a canvas, I’m curled up with crafts, books, or out on an adventure with my dog through magical woodlands.
