Hi, I’m Daniel, a British illustrator and woodcut artist inspired by the great outdoors, currently based in Lisbon, Portugal.
I have a passion for folk and outsider art and tend to gravitate to an analogue process. I enjoy using paint, pencil and wood to capture the people, landscapes and nature I encounter while exploring the wilder places.
Moments I enjoy are going on trips in my recently converted 1991 Nissan Vanette campervan, swimming in the ocean and then letting the sun dry my skin, making a good morning coffee (especially when out hiking), and when camping, I like watching the stars whilst brushing my teeth.
